Singing lessons online around the world with the teachers at Your Voice Studio are never boring – we feel this is counter-intuitive to learning and will strive to make the lesson as interesting and fun as possible whilst getting the most out of your voice. On this page you’ll find:
Lessons
The teachers of Your Voice Studio offer one-to-one lessons online via Skype or Zoom. A first lesson typically includes:
- A personal assessment of your voice
- An easy-to-understand explanation of why your voice is doing what it does
- Structured vocal exercises (vocalise) tailored to your voice
- Working on your choice of song
- Your lesson recorded so you can take it home to practice
- Time for any questions
Lessons typically consist of around 50 minutes of singing and 10 minutes of talking/wrapping up time.
Continuing lessons will be very similar in structure to your first lesson, but as you make progress, the vocalise will change to account for this. As you gain more confidence as a singer, we’ll be able to work on more challenging songs and constantly refine your voice in the process. We’ll work with you to help you develop your own personal style and personality as a singer.
Skype Lessons Requirements
You’ll also need a good camera and microphone on your computer or device, and a hi-speed internet connection is recommended. Lessons are recorded and emailed afterwards.
